One consideration when considering liposuction is whether the procedre is to be performed at a hospital or as an outpatient in the doctor's office. So which is the best?

Either can be fine but there are good reasons to having the procedure performed at a hospital. In the unlikely event there are complications resulting from the procedure the hospital will have all the equipment and staff to handle just about anything that can happen.

You should also be aware that if your procedre is performed in a hospital then it is likely to be more expensive. Also your exposure to random staph infections may be greater in a hospital than in a physician's office. The larger the hospital the greater the risk. However, the overall risk in any hospital is relatively low.
